APA Group (ASX:APA) notes that the Australian Energy Regulatory (AER) has today released its final decision on the proposed revised access arrangement for APA Gas Network Queensland (APT Allgas) for the period 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2016.

The AER has not approved APA’s proposed revised access arrangement and subsequently will publish its revised access arrangement and access arrangement information for APA Gas Network, which is expected by 30 June 2011.

APA notes that the final decision has accepted APA’s forecast operating and capital expenditure for the period. However APA and the AER have differing views on some key elements of the weighted average cost of capital. APA will work through the final decision document in full before considering any further response.
