APA  Group  (ASX:APA),  Australia’s  largest  natural  gas  infrastructure  business, notes  today’s  announcement  from  gas  producer  Eastern  Star  Gas  on  the progress  of  its  arrangements  for  the  export  of  LNG.  

APA  Managing  Director,  Mick  McCormack  said  "We  are  pleased  to  be  building on  our  relationship  with  Eastern  Star  Gas  for  the  future  transportation  of  their coal  seam  gas  tomarkets.   In  addition,  we  look  forward  to  expanding  our relationship  with  Marubeni  Corporation  in  relation  to  ESG’s  proposed  LNG Newcastle  Project."   


The  use  of  APA’s  existing  New  South  Wales  pipeline  infrastructure  combined with  new  infrastructure  will  provide  timely  and  costeffective  delivery  of indigenous  New  South  Wales  gas  for  this  new  market.
